Visit our Blog, called IZiseko zeSayensi, to follow our 'back to basics' campaign. IZiseko zeSayensi are the isiXhosa words for 'basics of science' (isiXhosa is one of South Africa’s eleven official languages).
NIR 2011 is only one year away and Cape Town is preparing herself to welcome you at the CTICC for the 15th International Conference on Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIR 2011).
We have recently launched our Blog, IZiseko ziSayensi (Xhosa for basic of science), and I am overwhelmed with the positive response from the Blog contributors. I trust that all, but especially, young researchers in NIR spectroscopy, are benefiting from the knowledge of these experienced scientists who are sharing so easily. We will continue to publish regular educational posts. We will also use the Blog to publish special announcements; please subscribe to the Blog so that you can be informed immediately when a new post has been published! I do not want anybody to miss out on any special announcements regarding NIR 2011.
Also visit the website regularly to stay informed on how the organisation of NIR 2011 is progressing!
Looking forward to welcoming you in Cape Town.
regards
Marena Manley
